Knockdown texture is a great way to add depth to your ceilings. It is simply drywall joint compound that has been thinned with water and sprayed out of a drywall texture sprayer. Shortly after spraying the blobs of mud, a special knockdown blade is used to create the desired effect. Once dry, the ceilings are painted white or the color of your choice.
